Sheriff David Davenport: The Jefferson County Sheriff's
Office is led by Sheriff David Davenport. Sheriff Davenport is a former
Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer and former Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
field agent. Sheriff Davenport is currently in his third term as Jefferson
County Sheriff. Sheriff Davenport is also a graduate of the Federal Bureau of
Investigations National Academy.
Chief Deputy Al Herzog: Chief Herzog has
been a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for eight years.
Chief Herzog came to the Sheriff's Office after having served seven years
with the Chester Police Office in New Jersey. Chief Herzog has worked as a
Patrol Officer, Reserve Deputy, Reserve Sergeant, and is currently serving as
the Chief Deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Captain Bobby Vesser: Captain Vesser has been a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for over twenty eight years. Captain Vesser has worked as a dispatcher, Patrolman, Patrol Sergeant, Lieutenant, and is currently the Patrol Operations Captain for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Jail Administrator James Greene: Mr. Greene has been a
member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office since 1998 and is currently
serving as Jail Administrator.
Chief Jailer Murlin Foister: Chief Foister has been a
member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for over sixteen years and
is currently serving as Detention Center Operations Chief Jailer for the
Jefferson County Justice Center.
Chief Detective Ronny Coleman: Chief Coleman is a
twenty two year Law Enforcement veteran. Chief Coleman was a county constable
for eleven years and has been employed for the past eleven years by the
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office as a patrol officer, field training officer,
detective, detective sergeant and is currently serving as Chief Detective.
