Records

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Records Section maintains all offense, incident, and crash reports. Employees assist the public by locating past incidents and directing them to other agencies as needed. Reports are retrieved and made available upon request to the public.

 

OBTAINING A REPORT

All reports take approximately four business days to be processed and arrival to the records department. Reports are available to the public. Request for reports can be made in person, or by mail. If you make a request by mail included the report fee as well as a self addressed stamped involved.
